It’s your other ride!


The transit services are provided throughout Kimball County and is open to the general public. We also offer limited services to the Village of Potter and Village of Harrisburg and their surrounding community. The shuttle is equipped with mobility in mind, featuring a lift for wheelchairs and door to door service for those who may need minor assistance.  Kimball County Transit Services allows increased access to meals, health care, shopping, public services and recreations for the community including the elderly and disabled.

Book a Ride

We schedule rides from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. It is recommended to call us as soon as you know you’re going to need a ride. It is on a first come first serve basis. Make sure to give your appointment time and a pick-up time will be scheduled to meet the ride demand and make sure you make your appointment. Call (308) 235-0262 to schedule a pick-up time.


Shuttle Hours

The shuttle’s normally runs in Kimball county from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. The shuttle may run for special occasions such as community concerts if there is a demand, so give us a call. We do have special services available for a few marked holidays. County observed holidays are listed below.

Potter & Cheyenne County Services

Services to Potter are considered out-of-town trips.  We provide rides to all Cheyenne County residents Monday – Friday. Rides need to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.  Riders will be picked up at their home or an arranged meeting spot. The rider can go to any address within our service areas listed below. The driver will wait for the rider and return them home.


One-Way Fees – Cheyenne County

Fees can be paid in cash to the bus driver. If you would like to set up a pre-paid account just let our office or the driver know. You may mail your check or money order or pay in person to the driver or at the office the amount you want to add to your pre-paid account. Ride fares will be deducted each time you use our service. Monthly statements can be sent upon request.

How much extra time should I plan for?

The driver can arrive 5 to 15 minutes earlier than your scheduled time. Please be ready to avoid missing your appointment.


Can I get same day service?

We may not be able to accommodate, but we will give it every effort. There is a same day service fee added to your fare. There is only one vehicle with wheelchair accessibility at this time and we are scheduling for multiple vehicles and drivers.


Is there an age limit?

There is no age limit. However, for very young children they must be accompanied. Give us a call and we can go over our Child Rider Policy with you.


Do I have to pay for my caregiver?

Caregivers ride for free while escorting their patient but we do need to know if a caregiver will be riding to make sure we have proper seating available.


What if I don’t know how long my appointment will take?

You are important to us, we will work hard to accommodate unforeseen and unavoidable delays.
